The Thinking Behind The Identity
Inspired By Winter
Winter gave the brand its visual starting point: cold light, clear surfaces and the quiet of snow. One of our directors created the original identity around that sense of calm.
We carry it into the software through restrained colour, readable interfaces and space for each task. The aim is clarity in everyday use.
The Names We Chose
Our founding directors chose Linko Vectis and Valacia together, drawing on Latin and on the sound of words. Valacia emerged while looking for a name to sit beside Linko Vectis, with a sound reminiscent of Eurasia or Anastasia.
We pronounce it va-LAY-sha. To us, it suggests something icy, clear and glacial. Other companies or products called Valacia have no connection with us.

A Consistent Language Across Every Page
Archivo And Inter
Archivo gives the larger headings their shape, with genuine bold italic cuts for emphasis. Inter carries paragraphs, navigation and controls. The combination keeps longer passages readable and makes the hierarchy easy to follow.
White Space And Structure
Sections have room to breathe. Fine dividing lines and aligned content organise detail, while cards bring related choices together. Deep blue typography sits on white reading surfaces.
Gradients With A Purpose
The header moves from twilight navy into azure. Smaller gradients mark the main actions and selected words, so colour supports the hierarchy instead of competing with it.
Original Dimensional Artwork
Our illustrations use glass, silver and glacial blue to give software concepts physical form. Each is drawn for its context. We use no photography or stock imagery.
Brief And Considered Motion
Illustrations play a short sequence as they enter view, with keyboard-accessible pause controls while moving. They are complete from the first frame, and remain still when your device requests reduced motion.
The Same Care On A Phone
The composition changes with the available space. Text, controls and drawings remain distinct, and navigation opens on a deliberate click or tap.
Our Logos On The Right Ground
Each identity has artwork made specifically for light and dark backgrounds. The original proportions, lettering and colours stay intact.
