Booking And Scheduling Systems
Apply your own availability, booking and deposit rules. Reservations come to you directly, with your customer list under your control and no booking commission charged by us.
Make the software fit the work. Linko Vectis designs and builds custom software for UK businesses, from customer portals to the systems your team uses every day.
Repeated data entry, awkward workarounds and disconnected tools are useful signs. Bespoke software earns its place when an existing product cannot do the job well enough.
Apply your own availability, booking and deposit rules. Reservations come to you directly, with your customer list under your control and no booking commission charged by us.
Give clients, members, tenants or suppliers a secure place to see their own documents, orders, bookings and progress. Access and branding follow your business.
Bring orders, jobs and accounts into one working system. Your staff see the information their role permits, on a computer or phone, without copying it between spreadsheets.
Turn a subscription software idea into a defined first release. Customer accounts, sign-up and billing form part of an agreed scope, with room to add capabilities later.
An off-the-shelf product usually costs less and can be available sooner. We will say when that is the better choice. Bring the spreadsheet or process you use now; it often explains the problem more clearly than a long brief.
Start with the work that needs doing. Each commitment follows a written scope, so you can decide with the relevant detail in front of you.
Use the contact form or email to explain what you need. This first conversation is free, and a person sends a written reply within one working day.
We work through the requirements with you and produce the written specification. It must establish a fixed application price and a delivery date, or we refund the specification fee. The document belongs to you either way.
Scope, price and date come together in the Quotation. Chargeable work on the application starts only after you accept it. Significant additions or changes are quoted before they are made.
Before development, you create a Google Cloud project and billing account in your company's name. We help where needed, then build within the access you give us.
Payment transfers ownership of the application to you. After launch, keep operation with our team or hand it to your own people. The project remains yours in either case.
Development has a defined price. Cloud usage and any ongoing operation are separate, so each cost has a clear purpose.
£1,950
One-Off - Credited In Full
Your specification and Quotation set out what the application will do, what it costs and when it will be ready.
Proceed within six months and the entire specification fee is credited against development. If we cannot give a fixed price and a date, we refund the fee in full.
Discuss Your SpecificationFrom £8,500
Typical Range £15,000 - £40,000
The agreed figure covers design, engineering and launch. Your Quotation confirms the exact scope and total payable to us.
Future features and larger changes receive their own written quote, accepted before work begins.
Get An Initial Price RangeCompare that investment with the admin time, missed bookings or platform commission the current process costs you. The calculator asks five questions and returns a range straight away. The general terms explain the agreement in full.
Ownership starts with the account it is built in. Your application never needs to move out of our account, because it is built in yours.
The application uses Google Firebase inside your own Google Cloud project. Its server-side code belongs there from the outset. Google maintains and patches the underlying servers.
No other customer's application shares your project. We use Identity and Access Management permissions you grant, and you can reduce or withdraw them.
After payment, the application code and configuration are yours. We supply the documentation too. Our existing libraries stay licensed for as long as you use the software.
Moving between Google Cloud projects is possible. Moving the application away from Google Cloud would require separately quoted re-engineering.
As use increases, Google Cloud can add capacity automatically up to an adjustable ceiling. Your company's Google bill reflects the resources used, without a margin added by us.
We set up budget alerts in your project.
You remain responsible for reviewing consumption and paying Google. An alert brings spending to your attention; it does not limit the bill.
Explore Our InfrastructureCommissioning the application does not commit you to our ongoing service. Make that decision when the software is built, or bring us in later.
We monitor, patch and back up the application, and deal with faults through the Managed Service.
Managed Service Standard
£2,400 / Year
For 12 months, paid in advance. No setup fee. The service has its own published plans, including an option with a service level agreement.
Compare The Managed Service PlansYour developers take responsibility for the code, configuration, monitoring and backups. We provide the handover documents and adjust or remove our access as you direct.
The application continues running in your project. Ending our Managed Service includes a free handover.
Read The Ownership TermsA mobile extension uses the accounts and information already held by your application. A booking made on a phone is available to the team working in a browser.
For many jobs, a browser-based app is enough. It can be added to a phone without an app store and costs less to build than a native app.
When the job calls for a native app, we design and price it with the application behind it. Both are built and tested as one system.
Bespoke development makes sense for distinctive processes. A business website, bookings and enquiries may already be covered by our own platform.
Valacia creates a business website from your answers and gives you a place to manage it. Hotels and restaurants have pages designed for their trade; other businesses can use it too. Its free trial lasts fourteen days and needs no card.
Our applications begin at £8,500. Most fall between £15,000 and £40,000, with the scope determining the amount. The £1,950 Fixed-Price Specification establishes your price before application development starts. The software cost calculator gives an initial range from five answers.
Allow from three months for design and development, counted from your acceptance of the Quotation. Testing and your review are included in that time; a larger scope takes longer. The Quotation names the go-live date. If the specification cannot establish both the price and that date, its fee is returned in full.
Yes. We can create your own SaaS product, including customer registration and subscription billing. We define the minimum viable product in the specification: the smallest useful release with which to test your idea. You keep that specification even if you choose another developer.
It runs on Google Firebase within a Google Cloud project registered to your company. Your Google account gives you visibility of the project and its infrastructure charges throughout the work.
Yes, if the application calls for one. Our default is Firestore, a NoSQL database held by Google across multiple zones in its region, with usage charges for reads, writes and storage. A PostgreSQL database is an alternative; Google bills it for every hour it is running, including quiet periods, and we size it to your needs. We can also copy data to BigQuery for SQL analysis, charged by use. Database selection and setup are agreed within the Fixed-Price Specification.
Your Quotation identifies the Google Cloud regions used for the application. Personal data remains in your company's project. Your company is the data controller and retains its legal responsibilities; we act as processor, following your documented instructions.
The application files, source code and configuration become yours once payment is complete. Your cloud project is already in your company's name. Our existing tools and libraries remain ours, with a licence lasting for your use of the application. Clause 7 of the general terms provides the detail.
Google invoices your company through its own billing account, using Google's prices. We put no margin on those charges. Our specification, development and any later Managed Service fees are separate.
No. Decide how to operate the software after the build. Your team can take responsibility, or we can look after it on a Managed Service plan. Operation has a separate price. Those plans each have a published annual fee, paid for 12 months in advance, regardless of application size.
Our commissioned work is application software, including portals, booking systems and internal tools. We do not design individual websites to order. For a business website, our Valacia platform may be the more appropriate option.
A short description is enough to open the conversation. We will explain whether bespoke software is appropriate and what the next step involves.
